360 might have the same, they are LEARNING. First console they have no control over the parts, second they have control but the parts are crap. Third they will have control over decent parts. And Just because the 720 will come out within the next couple of years doesn't mean they will abandon the 360 system as quick as they did the Xbox1. They will market the Xbox 1 toward the younger casual market.
PS3 has what, BLu-ray. the only thing 360 doesn't....
